AJ Styles and Omos were advertised to wrestle Matt Riddle and Randy Orton for the RAW Tag Team titles on this past Monday Night RAW. However, the match wasn’t happened.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio noted that the reason for AJ Styles not being at the show is a likely injury.
Ringside News reported that, “The nature or timing of any potential injury to AJ Styles is unknown right now. He does have a recent history of shoulder problems. There have been rumors that Styles was working with an injury. As of right now, it’s the most probable explanation for the cancellation of the bout with Orton and Riddle.”
WWE only advertised one match for this week, and that’s RAW Tag Team Title match. However, Omos was on RAW and he attacked Street Profits without any reason.
We will update you when we receive a more details about AJ Styles. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
