WWE's Current Plan For Roman Reigns Title Run & Brock Lesnar's Status After Crown Jewel 2021

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are set to appear on upcoming episode of SmackDown to hyping their Crown Jewel match. We previously reported, Lesnar and Reigns are set to have more than one match.

According to Paul Davis of Wrestling News, Brock Lesnar’s next match will schedule to take place at 2022 Royal Rumble.

After Crown Jewel, Lesnar is not scheduled for any more WWE shows this year and the next time he is scheduled to wrestle is during the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in St. Louis. The 2022 Royal Rumble is scheduled for Saturday, January 29 at The Dome at America’s Center.

It seems like, Crown Jewel is the last time that fans will see Brock Lesnar compete this year.

Paul Davis also reported that, WWE has no plans for Roman Reigns to drop the Universal Championship anytime soon.

A source close to the creative process told Wrestling News that Reigns is expected to hold the Universal Title for a long time and there are no plans for him to drop it this year.

WWE management is very happy with Roman Reigns as a heel because he is the all-time merchandise seller among top heel superstars in the history of the company.
Paul Davis also added that,

One source told us that his merchandise sales are at the level of John Cena and it’s more impressive because Cena sold a ton of merchandise as a babyface while Reigns is supposed to be a despised heel.
