18 Main Roster & NXT Superstars Released From WWE

WWE has announced their earnings for the third quarter of 2021. Revenue was $255.8 million, an increase of 15% which is $34.2 million in the prior year quarter. Net Income was $43.5 million, a decrease from $48.2 million in the third quarter of 2020.

Shortly after the earning call, WWE has released 18 main roster and NXT superstars. The releases were said to be due to budget cuts. Many of the names are under 30-day non-compete agreements while others on the main roster are under 90-day non-compete.

Here’s the list of names that released by WWE:

Keith Lee, Karrion Kross, Nia Jax, Eva Marie, Scarlett, Mia Yim, Ember Moon, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, B-Fab, Franky Monet, Oney Lorcan, Jeet Rama, Katrina Cortez, Trey Baxter, Harry Smith, Zayda Ramier, Jessi Kamea.

Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Podcast reported that, possibly 4 wrestlers were released by WWE because they were unvaccinated.

According to The New York Post, Nia Jax was one of those names.
