Stephanie McMahon Addressed Vince McMahon Controversy During WWE Board Meeting

Vince McMahon stepped down from his position as WWE Chairman & CEO last Friday due to the WWE Board of directors’ investigation regarding McMahon’s secret $3 million settlement to an ex-employee. Soon after McMahon stepped down from his duties, the WWE board of directors jointly issued a statement and appointed Stephanie McMahon as interim CEO and interim Chairwoman of WWE.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer reported that four out of twelve members of the board were not involved in making Stephanie McMahon interim CEO & Chairwoman. Those members were Vince McMahon, Nick Khan, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon herself.

PWInsider reported that Stephanie McMahon addressed Vince McMahon’s controversy during the “all hands on deck” company meeting yesterday. In the meeting, Stephanie stated that she loves her father, Vince McMahon and the WWE.

PWInsider.com has been told McMahon directly addressed the obvious elephant in the room noting that everyone is aware the Board of Directors is investigating her father who has "stepped back."  She noted that she loves her father and that she loves WWE and will be doing everything she can for the company in the days ahead.

Most people thought that Stephanie McMahon would be Vince’s puppet after being appointed as interim CEO & Chairwoman. However, that is not the case. PWInsider noted that Stephanie actively participated in the meetings that previously Vince took part in.

PWInsider.com is also told that as of this week, Stephanie has been actively involved in meetings that usually would have seen Vince McMahon taking part.

According to Dave Meltzer, Triple H now has more power and will get a bigger role in WWE soon. Recently Triple H visited the WWE performance center and addressed the talents. He reportedly said that “He’s back.”

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
