CM Punk has not been on good terms with Vince McMahon since Punk left the company in 2014. WWE released Punk on his wedding day and since then former world champion criticized the company several times.
Last Friday, Vince McMahon announced that he is retiring from WWE duties and appointed Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan as Co-CEOs. Also, Triple H became the WWE head of creative that position was previously held by McMahon.
During an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, AEW World Champion CM Punk commented on Vince McMahon’s WWE retirement. Punk stated that he doesn’t think WWE culture would be changing after McMahon’s retirement.

AEW World Champion CM Punk is currently sidelined with a foot injury and the exact timeframe for his return is undisclosed.
