Triple H brought back several released superstars to the company in the past few weeks and included them in the interesting storylines. Karrion Kross, Dexter Lumis and Dakota Kai are doing their part very well in WWE so far. Many fans expect to see more superstars who were previously released by Vince McMahon’s regime. Triple H has wanted to bring back a former Wyatt family member to the company.
Fightful Select reported that WWE discussed the idea of bringing back former Universal Champion Braun Strowman. However, there’s no report about how far the negotiations have been successful between WWE and Strowman.
Among names pitched or discussed for a WWE return include Braun Strowman. Strowman was released by WWE on June 2, 2021, just about nine months after holding the WWE Universal Championship that he won at 2020’s WrestleMania.
Fightful Select added that Braun Strowman re-signed with WWE in 2019 and had a seven-figure, multi-year contract. They further noted that when Strowman’s contract came to expiration in 2021 “he played hardball” during his negotiations for a new contract.
Following his WWE release, Braun Strowman started his own promotion “Control Your Narrative” along with former WWE superstar EC3. The Monster Among Men had wrestled eight matches after his WWE release and half of them were held in CYN.
