JBL Reportedly Returning To WWE RAW

John Bradshaw Layfield is one of the top heels in the Ruthless Aggression era. JBL retired from in-ring competition in 2009 after losing to Rey Mysterio in 21 seconds at WrestleMania 25. He then became a play-by-play commentator for RAW and SmackDown. In 2017, JBL stepped away from the commentary team. In 2020, JBL was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

The WWE Hall of Famer appeared on the September 2nd episode of Friday Night SmackDown. JBL told Corbin to get into his limousine during a backstage segment after Happy Corbin lost to Shinsuke Nakamura.

Since then, Corbin did not appear on WWE television but he competed in this past Saturday Night’s Main Event in Phoenix, Arizona. You can read the full results of the show by clicking here.

PWInsider has reported that JBL is scheduled to appear on several upcoming episodes of WWE RAW.

There was talk at Smackdown Friday night that WWE Hall of Famer JBL would be at the next several Raws in some capacity.
