Jimmy Smith became a WWE RAW commentator on the May 26th, 2021 episode of Monday Night RAW. He was a replacement for then RAW commentator Adnan Virk.
Smith was a former MMA commentator who doesn’t have any wrestling knowledge. However, he quickly learned everything from Corey Graves and Byron Saxton. Many fans and backstage officials praised his work.
Today, WWE announced that they have made major changes to their commentary teams. Corey Graves and Kevin Patrick will do the commentary on Monday Night RAW. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett will provide SmackDown commentary. You can read more details by clicking here.

Just wanted to say, now that the story is officially out, that my time with the WWE is officially done. Had a lot of fun and met some great people. Really and truly blown away by the acceptance from the WWE fans! You folks make it work every week and your enthusiasm was amazing!
