The Rock Reacts To Pat McAfee Stealing His Catchphrase

Last week on SmackDown, Happy Corbin confronted Pat McAfee after losing to Madcap Moss. Corbin said that McAfee was constantly criticizing him and making jokes about him. Corbin reminded that McAfee called him a “Bum Ass Corbin” when he hit rock bottom. McAfee then responded to Corbin by saying Bum Ass Corbin and laughing at him. Later, fans at the arena chanted and laughed the same.

This past Friday on SmackDown, Pat McAfee issued a challenge to Happy Corbin for a match at SummerSlam. However, Happy Corbin was not at SmackDown this week to answer his challenge. But Corbin dropped a video on social media to react to McAfee’s challenge.

In the video clip, Happy Corbin said that McAfee knew he was not backstage on SmackDown, which was why McAfee could use his name on SmackDown. Corbin ended the video by saying, “let’s see how tough you really are when we’re standing face to face, punk!”.

Pat McAfee’s promo on this week’s SmackDown caught the attention of The Rock because McAfee used Rock’s catchphrase “millions and millions.” The Great One praised McAfee and tweeted the following.

In front of the MILLIONS…. AAAAAND MILLIONS…. “BUM A** CORBIN” That’s good sh*t brother! Great promo. Enjoyed watching this #ISmellIt

The Rock is reportedly scheduled to face Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. However, if The Rock is unable to compete at the show, then WWE's backup plan is Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
