Pat McAfee is one of the most entertaining commentators in WWE. Since joining WWE, McAfee has wrestled a few matches, and the most notable one is McAfee wrestled against 76 years old Mr. McMahon at WrestleMania 38.
WWE fans and backstage officials are impressed with Pat McAfee’s commentary work, and he also brought new energy to his fellow commentator Michael Cole.
Today, WWE issued the following statement to the media regarding Pat McAfee’s WWE contract.
STAMFORD, Conn., July 7, 2022 – WWE® (NYSE: WWE) today announced that Pat McAfee has signed a multiyear extension with WWE.
Since April 2021, McAfee has served as an analyst, alongside Michael Cole, for Friday Night SmackDown at 8 pm ET live each week on FOX.
The new pact will see McAfee entertaining the WWE Universe for years to come.
Earlier this year, McAfee delighted fans and lit up social media with a WrestleMania debut for the ages at AT&T Stadium in Dallas when battling Theory, Mr. McMahon, and even getting stunned by Stone Cold Steve Austin.

McAfee's fellow commentator Michael Cole tweeted the following statement.

Pat McAfee is scheduled to face Happy Corbin at SummerSlam on July 30th in Nashville, Tennessee. Their rivalry started on the June 17th episode of SmackDown over McAfee’s “Bum Ass Corbin” comment.
