Happy Corbin and SmackDown commentator Pat McAfee had an altercation on the June 17th episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Corbin claimed that McAfee called him a “Bum Ass Corbin” and made fun of him when he was broke.
On last week's SmackDown, Pat McAfee challenged Happy Corbin to a match at SummerSlam. However, Corbin did not accept McAfee’s challenge until last night’s Money in the Bank PLE.
Money in the Bank ended with Theory grabbing the briefcase and taking selfies with it. After the show went off the air, Happy Corbin came from the crowd and brutally attacked Pat McAfee. Then, he accepted McAfee’s SummerSlam challenge. Later, WWE officially announced the bout for SummerSlam.
