Drew McIntyre was advertised along with New Day to face The Usos and Solo Sikoa on this past weekend’s live events in Stockton and Fresno. However, McIntyre was pulled from the shows.
The former WWE Champion had been very ill last Friday but he managed to appear on SmackDown after getting treatment backstage. Although, the company decided to remove McIntyre from weekend shows to give him a rest.
Braun Strowman replaced McIntyre in the six-man tag team match and fans were able to witness a dancing monster during Sunday Stunner live event in Fresno, California.
Now, PWInsider reported that Drew McIntyre is fully healed and scheduled to appear on the upcoming Friday Night SmackDown in Winnipeg, MB.
For those who have asked about Drew McIntyre, WWE sources have confirmed he is figured into creative plans for this week's Smackdown and is expected to return to the road for live events this coming weekend after a bad case of food poisoning last week.
Drew McIntyre is set to face Karrion Kross in a Strap Match at the WWE Extreme Rules premium live event on Saturday, October 8th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
