Last August, Triple H brought back Karrion Kross and Scarlett to the company and gave them a second chance. Both of them made their shocking comeback on the August 5th episode of SmackDown, where Kross attacked then-Roman Reigns’ challenger Drew McIntyre.
Earlier this month, Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross wrestled in a Strap Match at Extreme Rules premium live event. Kross won the match with an assist from Scarlett. McIntyre and Kross’ storyline did not end at Extreme Rules.
Last week on SmackDown, Karrion Kross was involved in a car accident. Moments later Drew McIntyre attacked him which cost Kross a chance to enter the No. 1 contender's match for the Intercontinental Championship.
Xero News has reported that WWE planning a steel cage match between Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross at Crown Jewel.
Been told to expect announcement of Drew v kross steel cage match at crown jewel very soon.
As of now, WWE has announced the following matches for the Crown Jewel premium live event.
- Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul
- Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley
- Six-Man Tag Team Match: The O.C. vs. The Judgment Day
